Introduction
Adamsfield Fishing Club is peacefully situated in the beautiful North
Cornish countryside. It consists of over three and half acres of
spring fed lakes that support a wide variety of coarse fish and
wildlife. The fishery is away from the main roads but the bustling
towns of Launceston, Camelford and Bude are just a short drive away.
Bodmin Moor and the surfing beaches of Crackington Haven and
Widemouth Bay are within easy reach. There is a local petrol station
and post office, approximately 4 miles away, where daily supplies can be purchased.
The fishery is set in thirteen acres of pastureland and many
different varieties of wildlife can be found here. It is home to
deer, foxes, rabbits and various types of wild birds.
Last year, we registered as a smallholding and now raise pigs and
chickens. We have acquired also, a collection of horses and moorland
ponies which run in our paddocks. We have two polytunnels in which
we grow vegetables, salads and seedlings. Fresh produce and
home-reared pork is available to purchase from time to time.
We are only a few miles from the A30 and A39 and these two roads
give excellent access to all the major towns of Cornwall and Devon.
We look forward to hearing from you.
